0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. his ability to tell his story is amazing; he’s honest about everything By Jennifer Oberg-Perna I’ve picked this book up on my Kindle as I knew the author when we were kids growing up Ruraltown USA. I haven’t finished my degree and have been seriously considering nursing since I work in the business world and at times, feel as if I need to do something more meaningful than create price lists and excel pivot tables. I was expecting more of a training manual and was excited to get the inside track but I got so much more. First, his ability to tell his story is amazing; he’s honest about everything. I really appreciate it as from the outsider looking in. I also was able to really get some real life advice that can be used in any career; even my current situation. He’s honest about how it affects relationships, children and other drama. Great advice on money matters as well. I have a couple of my CNA friends reading it as well and they love it. The author is the real deal, great person and most importantly, honest about the experience. Great read!

I enjoyed reading it even though I'm not a nurse or a nursing student. Makes me appreciate how much a nurse has to go through to take care of us.. and I'm quite a bit more grateful for the work they do after reading this book.
