But as I read through I could find some herbs/spices used by grandmas to cure wounds or even skin infections. Turmeric , Garlic and Ginger are one of those. The book covers a background, followed by the foods, spices and the recipes helpful in inflammation. The recipes are good and healthy and seem to achieve the desired health benefits. I would love to see some scientific studies combined with the information. Excellent information and you can be sure of one thing, the diet is naturally healthy.

Turns out diet can really affect both of these conditions. I knew that some foods could help reduce inflammation, but hadn’t heard that specific spices can have an anti-inflammatory effect. There are some recipes included in this book, and the pumpkin soup and turkey chill were really tasty. I found the list of foods to avoid because they aggravate inflammation the most helpful.

My parents have had chronic health issues and this book has really given me a lot of information to help them improve their health. I've already seen some major changes already.
