A collection of whimsical, satirical and sometimes serious stories and commentary about: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Golf, Cats, Dogs, Republican Politicians, F. A. Hayek, Pigford, Men In Tights, The Border, Benghazi, Marxism, The NBA, The NSA, The RNC, Shakespeare, Orwell, Drones, Global Warming, Churchill, Atlas Shrugged, Raisins, Ridley Scott Movies, Weddings, McDonald's, Noah’s Ark, Islam, Academia, Space Travel, Easter Eggs, and News of the Future from conservative humorist and writer Brian Watt. From the Introduction: Finally, the book no one has asked for but that I’m foisting on the public nonetheless. Yes, you heard it here, ‘foist’. The following collection of short stories, political commentary, satire, and occasional sarcasm is my own vain and feeble attempt to unveil the Dorian Graying of America, to reveal a country now fundamentally transformed, gruesomely transfigured and rapidly descending into a kind of madness and buffoonery where lies are passed off as truth and where Orwellian newspeak is presented as news. We live in a country that seems to care more about Kim Kardashian or Miley Cyrus’ respective rear ends than about the eventual default and dissolution of the economy, whether Islamist terrorists may be crossing the country’s southern border, whether Vladimir Putin is hell bent on reconstituting the Soviet Union, whether Israel will be annihilated, or whether China and its navy and military will control the sea lanes in the Pacific and begin to acquire new real estate. We watch as our cities, run for decades by Democrats who have poured in billions of dollars to improve education and provide opportunities, are now combat zones that police can’t police without the risk of being arrested. We look to a younger generation of bright minds who have, for years, been told by a predominantly Marxist-embracing professorial class that America is only exceptional in that it is a racist, sexist, greedy, oppressive imperialist nation subjugating other peoples and nations on the planet. This from an academy that continues to confer professorships and tenure to like-minded simpletons, charlatans, scoundrels and in some cases former criminals - one of whom helped launch the political career of our current president. A good deal of the content in this collection of work may be considered offensive to those who lack the genetic material for self-awareness, self-deprecation or humor in general. Those nannies and fussbudgets who insist on political correctness will be especially affronted…and should be if I’ve done my job right. "Somehow Brian Watt makes being an American in 2015, after eight very weird years (and more to come) not only bearable but very funny." — Rob Long, Co-founder of Ricochet.com

While my political views do not always correspond with the author's, he does a great job of mixing humor, wit, and insight. Each essay takes on a life of it's own, and it is interesting to see how the views evolve over the course of time. Great read for any political junkie!!
