About the Author Gayle Leona Jabour has been a production coordinator on a number of television and film documentaries, including The Nature of Things. She joined the CRTC in Ottawa as researcher and Canadian content coordinator for the task force on the implementation of the first Canadian Content Regulations for the Canadian film and television production industry. Daniel Tigner has a graduate degree in Education from McGill University. He has taught high school English and theatre as well as English as a Second Language at the college level. Currently, Gayle and Daniel are collaborating on creating new radio and television documentaries, as well as working on a number of book projects.

Excellent insight into the world of real people and real lives regarding retirement By Peter Kalil As a 52 year old male who is looking towards retirement in the relative near future, I was absolutely thrilled to finally read a book that involved REAL people who were willing to share their REAL life experiences in regards to pre-retirement or retirement.I found this book to be extremely relevant and fresh and to some extent, innocent. I found the stories to be enlightening, encouraging and helpful as I look towards retirement.I would recommend this book to anyone heading towards retirement or who are already retired.The bottom line for me as a reader of this book is, it is comprised of stories of real people in our very real world.It is very clear to me that the authors of this book hit on a topic that is very important to many people.Thank you to the authors for taking on this challenging and relevant topic.

All the stories are engaging and make me feel I know the person. A great read at anytime, but also a good travel book as each memoir can be read in a single sitting.
