(Mama's Little Minions) While this book is filled with lots of useful information I could never understand why someone would want to stockpile, what would happen if the "event" you are prepping for leaves you having to leave your home or your stockpile behind? Where will you be then? What if looters come and take your stockpile or worse, take your life in order to gain your stockpile? I personally have always felt knowledge is the better prepper tool than items in most cases. If you have knowledge in how to survive and find/hunt/fish for food than you are better off.This book goes through what you should stockpile, how you should store it and where you should store it among a lot of other things. I like how in depth this book goes with the information. Overall it's a good read but like I said don't put all your eggs in one basket.

No need to throw things out or use up quickly, I.e., oil your eggs or bury in salt, use your milk to make yogurt, cheese, sour cream, butter, etc. Maybe for someone fence sitting this book will help but if you've already decided to prep skip this.
